Region Thetford is ...

The region of Thetford is located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains and is an integral part of the beautiful touristic region of Chaudière-Appalaches.

With a population of 25,706 inhabitants (according to the 2011 census), Thetford Mines is an industrial center, with business services, and where the industry and the environment blend in perfect harmony.

Greater Thetford’ region is located at the borders of the Eastern Townships and Beauce area. At the borders of three touristic areas, it is very well located in relation to major centers: approximately one hour from Quebec, Sherbrooke, Victoriaville, Lac-Mégantic and Saint-Georges-de-Beauce, and one hour and a half from Trois-Rivières and Drummondville, two hours and a half from Montreal.
